About The Harms (7:30)
The Harms is an all-female band, and that’s no accident. But, don’t get it twisted. They want you to forget about that. Their hybrid sound is fueled by classic Psych, Surf, and early American R&B, with sprinkles of other elements like jazz / punk. But, the themes in their songs are steeped in the blues.

They have been featured several times in the KUTX “Austin Music Minute” and their songs “She Turns” and “Python” are in regular rotation on college radio. The Harms’ lead writer, Chase Frank, has had songs featured on Fox TV’s “Lucifer” and has the opening track for “Falcon Rising”, Sweet Apple.

Noir, thick drums, and killer hooks dominate The Schisms music. They regularly tour the US and have had high praise with their latest album “Moon”, recorded by Grammy-winning producer Stuart Sikes in Austin, TX. They have been featured in Magnet, The Austin Chronicle and more.
