This jaw-dropping Scottish strong ale (8% ABV, 30 IBUs) strays far from conventions, as it’s brewed with a recklessly bodacious amount of malted barley and specialty grains, and a dash of beechwood-smoked malt. It features semi-sweet flavors of cocoa and coffee, and a wee bit of smoke. It’s a powerful, head-turning trip for malt heads and folks who think they don’t dig dark beer.

2019 Battle of the Bands at OB Boulder Taproom

March 13 is the FINAL ROUND of 2019’s Battle of the Bands – a showdown between the winners of Round 1 (February 27) and Round 2 (March 6) that will determine who gets to play on the Oskar Blues stage at Bolder Boulder – one of the biggest 10K races in the country and a Boulder tradition! Come out and witness a fierce, beer-soaked competition between the best local acts around!
