The Evolution of Oskar Blues Brewery
A pioneer in the craft beer space, Oskar Blues was the first brewery to stuff craft beer into a can in 2002, starting with Dale’s Pale Ale, the Original Craft Beer in a Can. The Oskar Blues brand has been a mainstay on the shelves of your local store ever since, establishing itself as a symbol of independent craft beer. Since those scrappy beginnings in Lyons, CO, our story has evolved, and it’s time for our look to evolve with it.
With new releases like One-y 100 Calorie Hazy IPA and Rosé for Daze, you may have noticed a few changes to the designs you’re used to. The new look embodies the spirit of Oskar Blues – bold, brash, inspiring – emblazoned with stars and stripes flanking a badge brewery logo. The badge, a seal-of-adventure, retains the funky font stylings of Oskar Blues’ beginnings as a music-centric brewpub, locked within a crest of craft beer credibility.
We have big things planned for 2020. Join us in the next step of Oskar Blues history as updated packaging rolls out for our bold, fresh beers. Stay tuned for more details.
