7 Wild Basin Black Raspberry Cocktails to Make ASAP

Wild Basin Black Raspberry is flavorful, jammy and refreshing straight out of the can, but some occasions call for cocktails. When friends are coming for dinner, when there’s something special to be celebrated, or when the mood simply strikes, mix up one of these boozy sparkling cocktails and Keep Running Wild.

Black Raspberry Beret

It’s okay to be a bit too leisurely while sipping this black-raspberry-meets-mezcal masterpiece. We think we love it.

1.5 oz Blanco Tequila
.75 oz Lime Juice
.5 oz Mezcal
.5 oz Simple Syrup
2 dash Aromatic Bitters
4 oz Wild Basin Black Raspberry

Garnish: (3) Blackberries
Serve in: Collins glass

Directions: Add all ingredients (minus Wild Basin and bitters) to shaker without ice. Shake vigorously. Add Wild basin Black Raspberry to shaker and strain into a Collins glass prepared with (2) blackberries resting on the bottom of the glass and topped with crushed ice. Shake Angostura bitters over the top and garnish with a blackberry. Serve with a straw.

 

Wild Raspberry Cooler

Keep your cool with this simple-to-make but complex-on-the-palate citrus and berry cooler.

1 oz Vodka
1 oz Lemon Juice
.5 oz Raspberry Liqueur
.5 oz Orange Liqueur
.25 oz Aperol
4 oz Wild Basin Black Raspberry

Garnish: (1) Lemon wedge
Serve in: Rocks glass

Directions: Add all ingredients (minus Wild Basin) to shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously. Add Wild Basin Black Raspberry to shaker and strain into a rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with a lemon wedge and serve.

 

A Julep in the Wild

We firmly believe that juleps are not just for Derby day! Wear a fancy hat and mix up this black raspberry julep any day of the year.

2 each Mint Sprigs
2 oz Bourbon
.25 oz Simple Syrup
.5 oz Black Rum
4 oz Wild Basin Black Raspberry

Garnish: 1 Mint bouquet
Serve in: Julep cup (usually a tin or silver cup)

Directions: Rub the mint sprigs around the inside of the julep cup and discard mint. Fill the tin with crushed ice and add Wild Basin Black Raspberry, bourbon and syrup. Swizzle briefly, then top with crushed ice. Pour rum over the top. Garnish with the mint bouquet and serve with a straw.

.75 oz Gin
.75 oz Green Chartreuse
.75 oz Raspberry Liqueur
.75 oz Lime Juice
4 oz Wild Basin Black Raspberry

Garnish: None
Serve in: Coupe glass

Procedure:

Add all ingredients (minus Wild Basin) to shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously. Add Wild Basin Black Raspberry to shaker and strain into a coupe glass. Serve.

 

Black Raspberry Margarita

Wild Basin Black Raspberry and pomegranate juice take the classic marg to new heights.

2 oz Blanco Tequila
1 oz Lime Juice
.5 oz Triple Sec
.25 oz Raspberry Liqueur
4 oz Wild Basin Black Raspberry
.25 oz Pomegranate juice

Garnish: (1) Each lime wedge
Serve in: Rocks glass

Directions: Add all liquid ingredients (minus Wild Basin and pomegranate juice) to a shaker full of ice. Shake and strain into a rocks glass rimmed with salt and full of ice. Top with Wild Basin Black Raspberry. Garnish with a lime wedge and float pomegranate juice over the top. Enjoy!

 

A Midsummer’s Swizzle

Make this dreamy, herbal, berry swizzle for your next barbecue, forest gathering or magical romp.

3 or 4 each Mint Sprigs
3 or 4 each Blackberries
2 oz Gin
.75 oz Lime Juice
.75 oz Simple Syrup
4 oz Wild Basin Black Raspberry
2 dash Aromatic Bitters

GARNISH: (1) Mint sprig
Serve in: Pint glass

Directions: In a shaker, gently muddle mint and blackberries. Add the remaining ingredients (except bitters and Wild Basin) and shake, then dump into a pint glass. Fill the glass with crushed ice and Wild Basin Black Raspberry and swizzle until cold. Add the bitters and swizzle them into the top of the drink. Garnish with mint sprig and serve with a straw.
