Vail, Colorado. We be unrolling some BIG things for you all…check ‘em out.

ODB – Old Double Bagger Barleywine

—American-style Barleywine Still a youngster at this point (3 months) Old Double Bagger (ODB for short) has a long life ahead of it. At 13.2% ABV and 100 IBUs this ale will age for years and develop over time. Look for a straight forward spicy citrus character from the exclusive use of Columbus hops and the considerable alcohol with a subdued malt background. This is a work in progress and we look forward to seeing how it ages.

Sour Cherry Barrel-aged Ten FIDY

—Imperial Stout aged in oak barrel with tart pie cherries The infamous Ten FIDY imperial stout aged for 10 months in an oak barrel with 36 pounds of tart pie cherries added after 7 months. A slightly lactic character carouses with big alcohol, cherries and roasty-chocolate flavors. The cherry cordial in liquid form. 10% ABV

GORDON

— Imperial Red/Double IPA – Our “Velvet M-80” is a luscious, double-red ale with a gooey aroma, a sticky mouthfeel, a malty middle and unctuous hop flavors. Gordon also sports a surprisingly comfortable finish for a beer of its hefty size (8.7% ABV, 60 IBUs). It’s brewed in tribute to Gordon Knight, a Colorado craft beer pioneer and Vietnam vet who died fighting a 2002 wild fire outside of our Lyons hometown.
