Hello Oskar Blues Brewery Fans,

September brings cool weather, the last of the outdoor festival season, and the 25th edition of the Great American Beer Festival.

The Great American Beer Festival

To celebrate the GABF, we’ve released a limited edition Dale’s Pale Ale can that pays tribute to the festival. The cans are now appearing on shelves in Colorado and our 12 other states. As you may know, the GABF is the ultimate beer- tasting event. This year's festival (September 28-30 in Denver) will present over 1600 different American- made beers from 380 of the nation's top brewers (including Oskar Blues Brewery). If you've never attended the GABF, this would be the perfect year to correct that terrible shortcoming. Great American Beer Festival

The Brews Cruise

Wanna kick off the festival early? On September 27th, Oskar Blues Brewery, Avery Brewing, Boulder Beer Company, and Lefthand Brewing Company are presenting the first annual Boulder County Brews Cruise. The cruise is sponsored by Draft Magazine. The Brews Cruise bus departs from the Colorado Convention Center (at 14th Street and Stout Street) at 8 AM on the morning of the 27th. The tour includes stops at Boulder Beer Company, Left Hand Brewing Company, Oskar Blues Brewery and Avery Brewing Company. For just $25 you get a seat on the bus, one free beer at each brewery, a light breakfast, lunch, a commemorative T-shirt and a 15% discount on merchandise at each stop. The Brews Cruise returns to Denver by 5 PM so riders can get to bed early and rest up for round one of the GABF on Thursday. We’re serving beer at Brew at the Zoo (Denver, 9/8), Scottish Highland Fest (Estes Park, 9/7-9/10), Crested Butte Beer Fest (9/10 in Crested Butte ) and Telluride Blues & Brews (9/15-9/17).
