Hey y’all wanted to update you on the farm. We are about half done harvesting hops and it is going great. Thanks to our friends at Hop Acres in Fort Collins we are using a Wolf Picker this year to harvest our cones. Our brewers have been using fresh green hops the day we harvest and dried hops as soon as they come out of the dryer. Amazing flavors and aromas in the limited release brews. Be sure and stop by the Tasty Weasel Tap Room and taste for yourself. The fresh hopped Dales Pale Ale with Hops and Heifers Willamette’s is my recommendation! The garden this year has produced fresh veggies for the chefs to use; right now we are harvesting Okra! Our Berkshire pork program is up and running we had 6 baby berks this summer and they are growing up fast. Thanks for checking in!
