Our fan Zach, from Austin, TX, sent us this awesome recipe for Ten FIDY Beer Candy Bacon (uhhh, YUM!!!)- add it to your game day finger-foods. CHEERS!
1/2c brown sugar
1 can TenFidy
Pinch of black pepper
Pour 1-2oz beer into sugar and whisk. Consistency should be a light syrup.
Set oven to 350F and lay bacon out on cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes, drain grease, flip, then bake another 10-12 minutes. Brush glaze on bacon strips and bake about 6 minutes until sugars begin to caramelize. Flip and brush the other side. Repeat until both sides have been glazed twice and bacon turns a deep, caramelized reddish hue.
Once they cool, it will harden and hold form. Serve in a pint glass.
