November 2008 Update from Oskar Blues

Oskar Blues Adds Beer Ace, Tanks

We've
made a couple big moves to keep up the supply and quality of our Oskar
Blues beers. We've just added Jeff Nickel to our team, he's a brewer
heavy who left his position at MolsonCoors to craft full-flavored brews
with us.
He's one of a very few brewers who have left the Very Big Leagues to
make hay in the small-batch craft beer world, we're thrilled to have
him join our team. He brings gallons of expertise, knowledge and great
reputation to our team, he'll oversee production for us.
We've also added five 100-barrel fermenters to our Longmont facility to
boost our capacity by over 50%.
These will go a long way in helping us meet demand for our beers in the
22 states that now enjoy our luscious canned and kegged goods. With
these tanks we're on pace to boost our annual beer production by about
75%, to over 20,000 barrels in 2008. Yahoo!

Singing 12-Packs Return

After a long hiatus, we're bringing back our famous Singing 12-Pack program.
The
program features specially marked 12-Packs of Dale's and Old Chub that
include a free CD of great small-batch music made by the nation's best
indie artists.
It's
our way of helping our favorite craft music makers, while hipping our
beer lovers to exceptional music that, like our beer, is way too
flavorful for the mainstream.
The
new CD is the 7th in the series, it features 12 tunes by a group of
rootsy heavies. The list includes Cindy Bullens, Amy Speace, Jeffrey
Halford, Rodeo Pony, Corinne West, and local heroes Chris Daniels and
Rebecca Folsom. Stay tuned to our Web site for more details.
The Singing 12-Packs will begin hitting stores in Colorado and other states starting December 1.
